One of my biggest creative inspirations is Tom Ford, who started off as a fashion designer and eventually transitioned into filmmaking later on in his career. After watching his filmography and learning a lot about portraiture from my thesis advisor, Paul Mpagi Sepuya, I wanted to get more into integrating posing and fashion into my work as I believe that this is a good way of paying more attention to the finer details of color, design, and also directing. The way I distinct myself from people who do the same is simply by shooting film so I can capture a more purer look of my subjects.
